Can An Internet Newbie Succeed With Magic-Web-Cash Mini-Site System?

marketing newbieOf course, but before we get into marketing let’s get set up.

But First not so fast …a few preliminary steps:

Mini-Site Set Up Instructions: Part 1 (The Tools)

The complete instructions are contained inside of the package. However, for HTML newbies it may seem a bit scary. This is why I created a tutorial that maybe a little easier for those who have little or no experience with web-sites and pages.

In order to make money you going to have to spend just a little bit more. There are 4 tools that you are going to need.

1. Register a domain name for your website. If you’re on a budget you can register an “info domain” at Godaddy for $2.13 (new price increase) for your 1st year. Excellent support and pretty nice packages.
Tip* You can name it what ever you choose but try to have traffic getting key words some where in the url.
This will help you with driving traffic to your marketing campaigns.

2. You will also need some where to host your domain. You can choose which ever company you like. I highly recommend Hostgator. They have excellent upload time and they are always available to help you should you run in to any problems.  I’ve called them as early 4:30 A.M.  on a Sunday morning and always received prompt courteous help to resolve issues.

They have three plans starting at $4.95 per month: “The Hatchling, “The Baby”, and “The Business Plan.” If you’re on a budget and only want to market this one site then the “Hatchling Plan” is for you. If you want to make money faster “The Baby at $9.95 per month provides a great value value. Here’s why…you can host unlimited domains at no extra cost. This will come in handy if you decide to build lead capture pages, use traffic exchanges and other blogs to drive traffic to your site. It’s almost essential. However, if things are tight you can start with the Hatchling and upgrade later. If you choose to get the “baby plan” for a whole year up front you can get a discount for $7.95. May I remind you it’s all tax deductible .

3.   If you haven’t already done so you can sign up for Godaddy and Hostgator by clicking on the images below:

5.  Now that you’ve gotten that out the way first create a folder on your desk top and name it the name of the domain you just purchased; in all lower case letters.

6. Next Download Kompozer the free WYSIWYG website editor by right clicking the image below and choosing saving link as to your desk top. Choose save target as if you’re using internet explorer browser. (I highly recommend you use Fire Fox instead; …you’ll see why later.)

6. Download the FTP Client File Zilla by right clicking the image below and saving it on your desktop.
